In the wake of the conference of the Association des économistes québécois that identified inconsistent governance in Montréal as a problem preventing it from fulfilling its potential, the Board of Trade asked a task force co-chaired by Marcel Côté and Claude Séguin to propose solutions to address the situation. The fruit of their efforts is contained in a report that includes 33 recommendations to improve governance and taxation in the metropolitan area.
