Taking Québec’s economy to the next level requires implementing a strategy to stimulate growth.
We want more SMEs that export. We will use strong tax leveraging to promote innovation, increased productivity, and access to international markets.
At the same time, we will stimulate our manufacturing sector with incentives to bring production back from abroad.
We will build a culture that favours local takeovers of companies in difficulty.
To attract more foreign investment, we will focus on our capacity to guarantee green energy at a competitive price and access to water. We will create business projects and showcase them to multinationals and potential investors.
In terms of labour, we will enhance continued training in the workplace, and we will establish an intensive policy to combat functional illiteracy.
We will use efficient economic nationalism, respecting free trade agreements, encouraging the retention of our head offices, with the CDPQ playing a greater role.
And we will increase Québec content in government procurement.
