Plenty of quality fundamental research goes on in Quebec, but we are lagging the competition when it comes to commercializing our innovations. Likewise, the entrepreneurial deficit in Quebec is a factor slowing our economic growth and burdening our employment rate. As a result, innovation and entrepreneurship are two topics the Government of Quebec studied in recent years to adopt policies to improve the situation.
