Why take this in-person training on U.S. taxation?

Join us on March 25 for this 3 hour in-person training session to stay informed of the sales tax requirements in the United States. You’ll be able to understand taxation in the U.S. with a focus on state taxes and their impact on Canadian business exports.

What will you learn in this training session?

To learn about the American context when it comes to sales tax;
To understand the potential consequences of the changes to better plan your American business strategy;
To learn about legislative, regulatory and policy measures of the US;
To understand the impact of the government’s new power to oblige Canadian companies that make sales in the US to collect and remit sales tax;
To know the rules for compliance on collection, declaration and remittance of the government’s sales tax;
To examine the government’s procedures and enforcement limits.
