Tell us what you're planning to do on April 22. This year, Earth Day will celebrate its 35th anniversary. Launched in the United States on April 22, 1970, this special day is marked each year by more than 500 million people in 184 countries. Over the years, it has become the most important environmental participation day in the world. Isabelle Hudon, president and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal and spokesperson for Earth Day, invites you to do something for the environment on this very special day. Encouraging your company's employees to use public transit is an excellent way to help protect our environment. The Board of Trade also encourages you to participate in the collection of hazardous waste and computer and electronic equipment. This is a unique opportunity for institutions, businesses, and office buildings in downtown Montreal to participate in Earth Day by getting rid of their hazardous waste and obsolete computer and electronic equipment free of charge. Time and place: Friday, April 22, 2005, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
