Welcoming the delegation from Luxembourg
Montréal's business community is honoured to welcome a delegation of Luxembourg companies working in key sectors. This visit marks an important step in strengthening the ties between our two communities. In 2023, trade between Canada and Luxembourg reached $284.8 million in value. With a GDP of 73.26 billion USD in 2020, one of the highest per capita GDPs in the world, Luxembourg is a privileged gateway to the European Union. This visit reflects the importance of the Canadian market for Luxembourg, which sees it as a key partner for developing innovative projects.
On October 28, we invite you to meet a top-notch trade delegation led by Carlo Thelen, CEO and Director General, Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. This delegation, formed by entrepreneurs and representatives from the cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and defence sectors, offers a unique opportunity.
The day begins with a welcome seminar breakfast, followed by a networking lunch. The afternoon will be dedicated to round-table discussions and B2B meetings—a chance to develop fruitful business relationships and explore new opportunities for collaboration. The event will conclude with a reception.
