Join us on May 29 for a virtual two-hour event featuring key players in the cultural and creative industries from Guadalajara and Montréal.

During this virtual event, these experts will specifically address companies in digital experience production and the audiovisual industry, covering sectors such as visual effects, animation, cinema, and circus. They will highlight the complementarities between the two cities and provide insights on fostering successful business relationships. This event is also aimed at exporting companies in the cultural and creative industries in Montréal and Quebec, as well as in Guadalajara and Jalisco.

The Business in Tandem initiative at a glance

The Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, in partnership with Ville de Montréal, presents "Business in Tandem." This initiative aims to promote inter-city trade through virtual conferences and B2B meetings featuring experts and companies already doing business or exploring business opportunities in targeted markets.

This initiative is an opportunity to:

  • Understand the business environment in Guadalajara and Montréal;
  • Discover short- and medium-term business opportunities in the fields of performing arts, visual arts, digital, as well as cinema and circus, within the ecosystems of these cities.
  • Benefit from the advice of experts and companies active in Guadalajara and Montréal;
  • Outline the different issues and areas of collaboration between the ecosystems;
  • Present the systems that support the deployment of projects in the cultural and creative industries.

Optional B2B Meetings

We propose organizing roundtable discussions between companies from Montréal and Guadalajara, our guest city. We will set up virtual rooms with five participants each, providing everyone with the opportunity to introduce themselves and engage with potential partners present at the webinar.

To show your interest in attending these networking meetings, please complete the questionnaire that will be sent to you after your registration in the confirmation email.

Who is this event for?

  • For professionals in digital experience production and the audiovisual industry, including sectors such as visual effects, animation, cinema, and circus.
  • For Montréal and Quebec-based companies, as well as those from Guadalajara and Jalisco, exporting in cultural and creative industries.
  • For communities and private enterprises interested in the Mexican and Quebec markets.
