Shoulder to shoulder in the relaunch
Because handshakes – the symbol of alliance and equality – are now prohibited, let's work together, shoulder to shoulder, to prepare and launch the metropolitan's economic recovery.
Together for the economic recovery
The health crisis linked with COVID-19 quickly morphed into an economic crisis of unprecedented magnitude.
The business community and companies in every sector are facing new challenges every day. Mobilizing every stakeholder in the metropolitan's economic ecosystem has never been more crucial than it is now, as we prepare for Montreal's economic recovery.
It is therefore critical to create a movement of solidarity and commitment to accelerate our industries' economic recovery and transformation in the post-COVID-19 era.
That is why, together, we have created the Relaunch MTL movement.
Relaunch MTL's mission is to identify business opportunities we need to seize, revise our way of doing things and determine how our industries can become more innovative and resilient. Our ambition for Relaunch MTL is to create a place for discussions between multiple sectors, to encourage sharing best practices and know-how, and to propose tangible actions to help decision-makers implement an approach that is well-aligned with each sector's needs. Relaunch MTL will target 14 key sectors in our economy:
• Downtown area
• Retail commerce
• Construction and infrastructure
• Sustainable development and clean technologies
• Higher education institutions
• Creative industries
• Life sciences and health technologies
• Financial services
• Information technologies
• Transport and logistics
A unique experience for the Economic Recovery
One of the things that Relaunch MTL will offer in response to this unprecedented situation is a unique experience that fosters discovery, networking and collective learning.
