Along with innovative manufacturing and entrepreneurship, exports are a mainstay of the Québec economy. In 2015, they accounted for 46.7% of Quebec’s GDP. It is important to further match Quebec’s exports to worldwide business opportunities in order to bolster their presence in our economy.
To attain this objective, the Quebec government has elaborated, in cooperation with stakeholders in the business community, the Stratégie québécoise de l’exportation 2016-2020, which will consolidate the government’s economic development perspective, foster business initiatives, and offer Quebec the impetus necessary to capture foreign markets.
