Canada has seen almost a decade of sustained economic prosperity. At the same time, it has carved out a place for itself among global leaders in a wide range of fields.
As part of the 2019 federal elections, the Canadian Global Cities Council (CGCC) – a national coalition of eight of the largest regional urban chambers of commerce (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Brampton, Toronto, Montréal and Halifax) – drafted its Agenda for Growth plan. This plan offers the next government recommendations to avoid jeopardizing the progress made in recent years and to support the country’s growth, at a time when the international economy is facing uncertainty.
In this context, the CGCC is releasing a series of strategic guides on topics that affect Canadian businesses across the country: commerce and innovation, infrastructure, and talent.
