The activity in brief

For the 7th consecutive year, the World Trade Centre’s team of experts is holding an important round table discussion on export market development prospects for Quebec businesses.

Two of Canada’s most well-known political figures and eminent international business specialists will provide an overall picture of business issues and opportunities for Québec companies in Europe and in North America. Brian Mulroney’s government was responsible for such bold, new initiatives as the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and the United States (NAFTA), while Jean Charest and his government played a key role in starting the negotiations for an economic partnership between the European Union and Canada (CETA).

In light of recent events, our two specialists will devote a large part of their discussion to their opinions on the future and benefits of free trade agreements currently caught up in turmoil (NAFTA and CETA).

Come hear the vision and forecasts of our two guest speakers.
