Universities and companies: succeeding in the fourth industrial revolution
Digital literacy, robotics, artificial intelligence, biotechnology and climate change: so many challenges! The world—our world—is changing faster than anyone could have predicted. What role do universities play in this context? How should we promote partnerships for economic, scientific, technological, social and environmental advancement? Which innovation processes should we favour to help academia—a thousand-year-old institution—fully assume its fundamental mission of education, research and creation? This is an invitation to collectively reflect on what we want to leave future generations at the dawn of the fourth industrial revolution.
