Thank you, Sévrine!

After contributing to the success of the Board of Trade for the past seven years, Sévrine Labelle, Vice-President, Strategy and Public Affairs, will be leaving us to pursue a personal endeavour: she will spend a year living with her family in Costa Rica!

Much admired by her colleagues, Sévrine has had a remarkable career at the Board of Trade and headed up projects that have marked our history. These include I see mtl, the election debate organized in partnership with RDI and a feasibility study on bringing baseball back to Montréal. Delivered under her direction, these initiatives made a major contribution to reinforcing the Board of Trade’s visibility and leadership with the city’s business community.

We wish her a great deal of success and happiness in her future endeavours.

Sévrine’s colleague Céline Huot will take up the torch and become the Board of Trade’s new Vice-President, Strategy and Public Affairs, effective August 3. Céline is currently the Board of Trade’s Director, Strategy and Communications. Before joining the team in 2012, Céline spent close to six years as a consultant at KMPG-SECOR and was a lecturer at HEC Montréal.

We would also like to announce the appointment of Jean-Denis Charest as Vice-President, Business Development, Partnerships and Membership. Jean-Denis has been with the Board of Trade since 2008 and until recently was Director, Sponsorships and Membership. He was with the marketing alliances unit at Cossette for close to three years, in addition to being a management and marketing consultant for non-profit organizations.

Congratulations!
